I'm a big Patriots fan heading to Heavenly next weekend with some friends for three days (yes I know the conditions are terrible right now, but rescheduling is not practical so we'll just have to make do). We're not planning on renting a car, so was wondering what's the best place within walking distance of the gondola to catch an NFL game? I'm assuming the casinos have sports bars. Anywhere else that would be good?
Or is it worth renting a car to see more of the area? I know it's not supposed to snow much but I don't want to have to deal with tire chains and all that on the off chance it does storm.
