I have been around these forum sporadically over the past two years, but haven't contributed much. Hoping to get a bit more active in the community. So here is my introduction:
I am a mechanical engineer at a steel plant in Northwest Indiana, This is my first job out of college as I just graduated this past April. Unfortunately Indiana is extremely flat(nearest "mountain" is 2.25 hours away and has 300 whole feet of vertical). This means I am only able to get about 12 days of skiing per year right now, with 5 of those coming when I travel out west. Going forward I am looking into getting my MBA.
Anyways my background leads me to my question:
What do you guys do for a living, and what areas do you live in, and how do you work in more days at the hill? I am sure there is an extremely wide range of professions and locations, I am just interested in what is out there, as I would like to move west one day because I love the Rockies. Thanks for indulging my curiosity!
Cheers and Happy Skiing,
