Anyone have any ideas for this one? Looking for a fun frontside power ski that is still an OK all-mountain ride. Probably looking at something in the range of low 170's. Thinking a detuned slalom ski would do the trick, or perhaps a slightly wider "carver" version of it. I have plenty of big skis, but the crappy conditions this year have me thinking I need to get a fun hardpack ski. Used to race, so not scared of stiff skis, but not really looking for race stock slaloms. Took out a buddies' WC SL the other day, it was fun, but a lot of work after a few runs.
Some skis on the radar:
Fischer WC SC (maybe something like a Progressor as well?)
Blizzard SLR IQ or Supersonic
Elan SLX Fusion WF or WF14 (new one-sided rocker design)
Those are the only ones I have found around here as potential options. Any others that are good? The Dynastar Omeglass ti seems popular, but 165 kinda short.
