Skiing new year's day in Summit County, CO?

What's it looking like for a new year's day day-trip?

Abasin, Keystone, or Breck?  Any snow reports from anybody?  Keystone has been the best for me so far with only groomers being open.  I hear the wind is brutal up there right now but should settle down by tomorrow.

How about crowds on New Years day?

Anybody want to carpool from Littleton area(470 and broadway)?

Copper is far better than Keystone and it's not close...not sure whether the wind has changed that though

amazing day at keystone.  no traffic, no lift lines, warm sunny weather, decent conditions on groomers though the bumps had much better coverage 3 weeks ago.  perfect day.

We'll be skiing the Summit in a few days; glad to hear that Keystone isn't too bad.  Did you ski Outback and North Peak?  North Peak was a bit iffy a couple of weeks ago and the Outback wasn't open at all.

the outback had some of the best runs with starfire and alamo; outback only had open elk run, which was fair.

a little snow to cover the bumps and a few ungroomed runs would go a long way.

Glad you had a nice time...as I like to say, most days skiing beat being in the office!  Looks like the next chance for some snow may be Friday, but the forecast is still uncertain.
