Epic Ski Bears NASTAR Team....You dogs need to run.

One day I was on the chair with a young shredhead.

I was suited and running NASTAR.

He assured me that....

...."Racers are nothing but dogs in helmets!"

That stuck.

So look, you dogs.

You are puttin' in a pretty sorry performance this season (so far).

Check our results

http://skiracing.nastar.com/index.jsp?year=2012&pagename=team&teamtype=family&teamname=EpicSki+Bears

Only 4 members have run.

Not good.....

Last year we did pretty good and finished 7th Nationally as I recall.

We need more of our team to run some gates.

Besides, a race course is the safest place to ski during the holidaze.

Get out there and take one for the team!

You don't want our coach to visit you!

Stupid question...Does it HURT the team if guys like me (aggressive eastern skier on a SL ski) contribute to your scores? Do "we" say we are Epic Bears? No worries either way, just curious...kind of new...

This is strictly for fun (and huge bragging rights).  Honestly, it does appear that participation counts for something even if you are not an experienced racer.  Silver results still seem to move us up in the rankings when an average or even sub average skier runs.  It is easy to sign up once you have a NASTAR profile.  Just join the EpicSki team under Friends and Family teams.  I would encourage everyone that can ski NASTAR to give it a go.  Also, it is never too late to join the team.  If you skied runs last month, signing up for the team still adds those past results to our score.

For beer and glory!

Number of results adds to the score.

Our beer league is SUPPOSED to start next week which gives NASTAR results, so assuming it doesn't get postponed for lousy

conditions, I should be on the board shortly.

Hi. Already have a Nastar profile, but my regular beer-league team appears already to be taking up my "Friends and Family Team" slot, and the Nastar UI appears only to allow one of these. There is an "EpicSki.com" team under the "Club Team" category, but I'm thinking that's a different animal. Essentially the only Nastar I ever do is on league nights, so creating a separate profile to use for "Bear credits," so to speak isn't going to buy me anything. Please advise. Thanks.
