This will be my last season on my Tecnica Diablo Race Pro (130) in a 9.5 and wanted to start some research now on new boots. I've always used a bootfitter but wanted to get a head start as I may try a new fitter this summer.
(i know this is general but) I have a very narrow foot w/a high arch. I also have skinny lower leg & calves. before the Diablo, I had the Head World Cup (probably an '01 injected model) and recall it was a great boot. I am not a 'power' skier but an aggressive skier @ 175 lbs.
Also, one thing I hate about the Diablo is the shell overlap (over the top of the foot) cuts into the top of the foot upon entry/exit. You really need to get your hands down into the shell to pull it apart. I've never seen this w/other boots; poor design (IMO).
