This one goes out 10 days, but looks grim
This one goes out a month
At least it should be cold during your stay. But if it doesn't snow that doesn't matter much, although I assume at least the main runs in the Cottonwoods will be well covered by the guns.
Open runs at Brighton looks ok.
and most of the runs at Solitude are open
For me it'll be like skiing in the Poconos, but on a bigger hill.
If they get a 2ft storm it will make a world of difference in the Cottonwoods. But the next 10 days doesn't look promising.
I was going to cancel a trip with 30" of snow when a big storm moved in seemingly out of the blue and changed everything to Good. Another time I skied a 40" base and skiing was great.
But to add to the angst, it's going to be warm this week, in January! That should make it real interesting for me this weekend after it freezes up, but I'm going with my two daughters, so a mellow trip is acceptable. I'll give you a report.
