Has Anybody ski Progressor 800 ? Head Magnum ? RX8 replacement

So here's the story.....

After much back and forth , Fischer has finally replaced my much loved but  delaminated 175cm RX8's (06). Had to cough up a fair chunk of change , and what arrived was a pair of Progressor 800's , also in 175cm. I'm wondering if this is going to be an equivalent ski or if its just what they happened to have sitting on the shelf. Can't find any reviews here, but it appears in a couple of mags as an "easy cruiser" for "lighter skiers" which sounds like an intermediate ski. Fischer suggests it is for advanced to expert.....

I'm 200lb , 6' 2", solid level 7- low 8 skier, like to go fast , decent technique. This is to be the hard snow end of a 3 ski quiver including Elan 888's and Ski Logik Howitzers - I want lots of edge hold and quickness and stability but I don't want to have to be going balls to the wall all the time to make a ski perform.

Wondering if I should sell the P800's and get a 900 instead, or maybe something else like a Head SS Magnum or Dynstar Speed Course or ...? Maybe the Head / Blizzard  Kastle are TOO burly ?

HELP !

Ignore the magazines! I'd put bindings on them and go ski them. They should have at least as much performance built into them as the RX-8s did. If you decide that you don't like them, the Progressor 800 has the Power Rail binding mounting plate which  requires no drilling and is easily adjusted for different boots which makes them easier to sell.
