Lange shell size questions

Thread Starter

Can someone tell me what size the Lange shell size changes? For example is a 28.5 shell the same shell as a 29.0 shell, with the only difference being the liner? Or are they totally different shells for each half size.

The reason I'm asking is that I'm a 28.5 performance fit in Langes, and I see a 29.0 Lange boot I like (last year's model) online for a good price. If they're the same shell size, I might go ahead and pull the trigger.

Thanks.

different shells

XX.0 and XX.5 are the same shell.  odds are the 29 will be too big.

In the US market, Lange and Rossignol have dispensed with the half size masquerade and everything is  XX.5.

Unless you are actually going to do something other than a thinner sock liner, the half size is a myth.

Don't pull the triggereek.gif---put "er" back on safety there "bub", you will be able swim in a 29.

Happy Holidays,
