Then again, maybe what--300 (at most?)--people use this site regularly enough to call themselves a "bear." Such a tiny fraction of 50 million skiers in this country. There are more ski resorts than regular "bears." And then is it anticlimactic when you meet a bear, learn their username, and then say:
"OH, you're THAT guy who was such a **** head online and said the mean things."
"Ahhh, screw it, let's hug it out and go rip some bumps"
"I can't ski bumps."
"No, you can't ski, and the bumps prove it."
"Whoa dude, I can ski, I just can't ski bumps."
"No you can't"
"You're a jerk, I'm leaving"
"See you later, gaper"
"Oh wait, maybe we can ski the trees."
"eh, I don't like glades, they are too dangerous."
"Dangerous!? HA! Glades are safe, groomers are dangerous... you can't ski glades anyway in those skinny twigs on your feet. Real men ride rocker"
"Ok, I'm going to the ladies trail. Bye"
If we treated one another how we do on this site, nobody would want to hook up with other bears.
