The brakes can be bent to fit the width of the ski.  Make sure to have that done by someone who knows what he is doing.

How far can they be bent?  Will a 110mm brake work for 118mm ski waist?  My other choice would be a 132mm brake width, but I am worried about it dragging.  I keep reading that the brake should be at least the width of the waist and no more than 20mm wider.

Old FKS185/P18 brakes, designed for sub-70mm race skis were regularly bent to 100-110mm skis (in the dark ages when pivots were out of production), so stretching out from 110 to 118 shouldn't be a big deal.
