There are a few variables to consider when choosing bindings, DIN setting and brake width are going to be the larger factors to consider. I would suggest focusing more on the available DIN adjustments as the brakes can typically be swapped out on many bindings. That being said, I would try to get the brake size as close as possible if you are planning on taking the bindings to have them mounted, while they can be swapped out in most cases, many shops will charge for changing out the brake. There are a few exceptions, the Look Pivot and Rossignol FKS are two bindings that are a bit more difficult / expensive to swap out brake widths on.
As far as mounting goes, there are specific jigs used by each binding manufacture and the tech will be able to go over any different mounting positions (ex: + / - boot center).
On the DIN range... height, weight, boot size and skier ability will all factor into the proper DIN setting. She will not likely need a binding with a DIN range above 12, but feel free to send over a PM if you have any further questions. We currently have free shipping on all orders shipping to the lower 48 along with 15% off our advertised sale prices (excludes 2012 products), our binding selection can be found HERE.
