The ski is moderately soft and makes decent turns on groomed and hard packed terrain. A great ski for an advanced Intermediate skier and an expert will still find it to be zippy through the turns. this ski will not be as stable at higher speeds.

I demoed 7 skis the past two weekends, looking for a new pair of skis.  The conditions were old snow and ice.  I tried the rossi avenger 76 after I tried the rossi experience 88.  The 88 really chattered in turns on the ice, but the 76 did much better.  I could turn reasonably fast in them.  Still, to be honest, it didn't stand out.  I ended up getting a wide ski that I thought couldn't do slalom turns but actually does great - the Line Prophet 98, which did stand out over the other 6 skis.  If you can demo skis at your local resort it's worth it to find the right ski.
