What Web Sites do you use for finding out about snow conditions?

Curious to hear about what web sites people use to learn about snow conditions, forecasts, etc...SkiReport.com was bought by onthesnow but SkiReports.com (with an s) just launched. Snow-forecast is a good concept, but tough to decipher what's going on. Is there anything else out there that I'm missing?

Thoughts?

Snotel, NOAA and atmos.washington.edu

Most weather/snowfall forecast sites just pretty up NOAA data. It can all be found at the source.

For Tahoe forecasts I've become addicted to http://tahoeweatherdiscussion.com/ and highly recommend it.

Here is one way.  Most resorts have their own sites.  This will show the weather forecast.

If you don't trust ski resort management, you can check a nearby SNOTEL site (run by the Dept of Agriculture --  to track water reserves, I think).

As usual, wikipedia has a good explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SNOTEL

The whole thing seems to be down.  Hopefully it is just maintenance, not budget cuts.

This link from my browser bookmarks is close to Jackson Hole, if I remember correctly.  Maybe it will work tomorrow.

I also like http://www.snow-forecast.com/ a lot for regional overviews.  They take the digital forecast model data from NOAA and post-process it in combination with fine-scale topographic info.  This was a lot more important several years ago, before NOAA started to do point forecasts (which to take topography into account).  In fact, my snow-forecast info may be obsolete...I think I will go see if they have current explanations.

The address without the hyphen http://www.snowforecast.com/ is a different site, which also has some good features.  It is more "list of resorts" oriented.

NOAA is a good one. I just find myself taking data from 5 or 6 different sites and trying to figure things out myself. How about for apps?

I use the resort website plus NOAA.
