Dude, WTF would anyone post sidecountry directions on the Internet? Do what everyone else does and ask a local while you're there. It's not just you that has access to an open, public forum. And Google indexes forums nowadays.

just to be clear the Hourglass SUCK usnless your the first person on it. The real reason to ski it is.......

even if you know where it is, the chances of finding it from the top are pretty slim, and also finding your way back can be "FUN"

Hey JoeUT Yeah whatever, I WAS trying to ask a local on here about it, are you kidding with the google index crap????  The hourglass is no secret they named their bar after it.   I'm a skier that was asking other skiers about the mountain.  I've been around as a skier for a little while and have always treated other people who are skiers with respect when respect is given and enjoyed talking about the mountains especially STOWE.  If not talked about here then what is the point of this site-????????  I can also take a joke, no need to be a prick about it though.

What I'm saying is locals weren't interested in posting directions here. Maybe if you'd met someone in person rather than taken your 14 posts to an anonymous forum, you'd have gotten better intel.

If it was so well-known, why the need to ask about it in a forum? Just because something has a name doesn't mean it's easy to get to.

A quick google search reveals no directions to it. If this had been an extensive thread, it might have ranked up at the top of the search results (some epic threads do). And that's just one more reason not to post stash directions in a public forum.

Notice the only one casting names is yourself.
