Is Anyone Getting Snow?

Thread Starter
Been skiing in British Columbia during the past week and it's been dry the entire time. Now I see that no snow has fallen in the SLC canyons either. Conditions were pretty minimal there before we left, so they are probably awful (for Utah) by now. Has anyone been getting snow recently?

Alyeska got 40" in 12 hours last night. They never managed to open today due to a power outage, apparently.

We're only about 10% open here.

Sunrise ski resort in NE AZ is 99.9% open with reported 56" base.

Snowbowl (Flagstaff AZ) is open with 17" base.

How do you open with 17"?

Wolfcreek is 100% open. I skiied there the 1st week of November and they were 100% then. Looks like they are the only mountain with snow.

I could I could legitimately mow my lawn today.

Nevertheless, I've been out negotiating my way around the tips of the trees sticking through.

Same here. It's been great skiing so far anyway regarding the temperatures. I just hope we start seeing some snow.

Snow?  White stuff that looks like powdered sugar?  Not a trace.  Hardly cold enough to make snow.

We have quite a lot in Norway and more coming. Røldal has 220 cm. In Oslo Winterpark we're making snow 24/7 now, hopefully the whole resort will be open before Christmas. I had my 9th day on snow today ( OW opened 9 days ago ). Hope you get dumps all over Northern America very soon.

Happy Skiing!
