please recommend a good boot fitter in northern IL area

Hi everyone,

I have a pair of boots that had fit well over the past couple of years, but with each year of use, I believe the liner has packed down (don't know the technical term) and now I feel that the boot is a bit too loose.  So, I'd like to see if I could get some work done on them, and if all else fails, get a proper fitting and purchase a new boot.  Can anyone recommend a place I can go to?  I live in the northern 'burbs of Chicago.  Thanks for your help.

OK, I'll be in SLC in 3 weeks... anyone know a good boot fitter there?

Hey all,

I've received a few PMs telling me this thread was locked and people can't reply. I just learned that only certain registered users, presumably boot fitters, can respond to the "Ask the boot guys" forum threads.

Just wanted to give those who didn't know (like myself) the heads up.

In this forum only registered fitters can reply.  In Snowbird look up Steve Bagley on the mountain shop.
