191 shogun topsheet mismatch

Hi everyone, here's the problem: 191 salomon shoguns, want to mount on midsole, BUT midsole lines do not match! I've sent an e-mail to salomon, they say measure 850 mm from the tail. Checked it: one line is approx. 843, another - 833! Also, the specs for the new model are 840 from the tail, I assume the geometry didn't change since last year but not 100% sure.

So the question is: where's the midsole mark actually?

Thanks for your comments

I would just take them back for a pair that is correct.

If you take it to a competent shop that actually MEASURES before they mount, then it should not be a problem. Or you could just tell your shop of the issue. That way they could actually mount it correctly.

BTW, take solly's advice.

Well, this is it, you see.. Finding competent people is a BIG problem. I have a few stores around but none of them is currently selling Salomon. I actually bought my pair in Moscow (I'm from St. Petersburg). Telling them where to mount as you advice was my original strategy. And now I'm trying to figure it myself...
