I've never been, but I remember thinking that looked like a fun place terrain wise.

Flashback 1977-1978 brochure from my collection. Posted it last night.

I love skiing, and I'm willing to spend more of my disposable income on skiing -- and improving my skiing experience -- than lots of people who have more money than me. It's just a matter of choice.

I'd pay twice as much for my pass to have fewer people around. I'd have to make sacrifices to do it, but I'd do so happily.

There are plenty of better ways to spend your $$$ on  improving your skiing experience and avoiding crowds than joining a private club at a rather nondescript southern VT hill.

I've never been there, just saying. Joining something like that doesn't automatically mean you're a snob. I doubt the pricing's like the

Yellowstone Club or anything.
