I've never owned any, and with the prices I'm not planning on buying any soon. Unless I could be convinced that their clothing and gear is really going to last 3x as long as something by TNF, Lowe, LL Bean, etc.
Last year I bought an LL Bean lightweight down jacket for under my shell. A similar Patagonia jacket is about 50% more. The LL Bean jacket is really nicely made.
Just curious what people are really experiencing with Patagonia. I dig the environmental theme in their expensive slickly produced glossy catalog which arrived last week in the mail, unsolicited.
