Minnesota Ski Areas? Recommendations for Minneapolis St Paul area

Hi Everyone

Have a half day and evening to kill (will be in MN for work next week) and thinking about skiing if I can find a place that has night skiing if possible somewhere near the MN/St Paul area? Any ideas as I am wondering if there are possibilities. Thanks

Buck Hill has night skiing and is right in Burnsville -- immediately south of Minneapolis.Welch Village is a bit south and Afton Alps is a bit east. Also there is Hyland Ski Area by the airport.

Excellent! Thanks Midwest Pete....I think I will give Buck Hill a try.....If you know of any decent places to stay near there too that would be great.....I will be getting to the resort probably by 2 so that is why night skiing looks like the best option....I do not thing I have night skied in 30 yrs so it should be interesting
