What's the best ski length for daughter? 147 or 144

Question, I'm hoping you can help me with. We are getting ready to go skiing first week of January.

My youngest daughter is 5'3", weight 116.  Should she use her older sisters skis (Volkl Attiva Supersport S5, length 147) or should I buy her a used pair of skis (Volkl Attiva Luna, Sol, or Aurora; but length 144--these what I found online). Her skiing ability can definitely handle any of those skis, but I'm not sure on the length?  She's not going to get any taller, so no problem with height.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you're buying them from a shop run by an Epic member, then buy them and support the community's economy. Otherwise save your money.

two of my daughters come in at 5-1 and 5-3, both similar to yours on weight at 110 and 112.  They used 150's and 148's last yr .... so i'd agree and save the cash less you have a great deal.  I actually thought about getting a bit longer for my 5-3 girl but .. for me, cash for skis isn't in the cards this yr ...

At 116#, I would put her on the 147's and not even think twice about it. Save your money.

Thanks for the advice.  I'll have her use sister's skis this year.  If her sister ski's next year, then I'll get her a different pair.
