Piston Control or No Piston Control

Thread Starter
Anyone have any thoughts on the Volkl Supersports with or without the Piston Control bindings?

I've searched long and hard for the piston control mounted version and can't find them anywhere. I found a guy with a set of blanks that he said he'd sell at a decent discount to me. I wasn't sure if I should hold out for the Piston Controls.

If I get the blanks I'll probably throw on a pair of two year old Marker 9.2 Racing bindings with lifts.

Am I going to be disapointed?

Are there any good substitute bindings out there that I could get instead and mount to the blanks instead of the 9.2's?

Just get the blank skis and mount some piston bindings on them. You don't need the Piston-motion. It's a nice system, but I doubt you'd notice much difference. Another option is the Marker worldcup piston plate. Not many shops carry it, but any Marker dealer can order one for you. It works with any Marker binding.
