Growing up in the 80's we used to go with our family and friends from our ski club up to Gray Rocks in Quebec. It was the perfect family skiing experience- you were class with the same kids all week, even the adults were in a regular ski class where they met other people. There were activities for the kids (even without the adults) all the time- sleigh rides, talent show, movie nights, game room, bingo etc. And at the end of the week you had a banquet with your class. We also had an assigned table in the dining room with the same waiter for each meal- and we requested him each time we went, so he was like part of our family. Anyway, really a great place and I'm so sad it closed.
Nothing will be exactly like this, but what would be a good alternative? I have a two and a four year old and our extended family is thinking about a big ski vacation next year. My family is in VA, NY and MA. My mom sent me a link to Seven Springs in PA which seems to be as close to a Gray Rocks experience that you'll find. Any other places like this?
