That's ok though, the brashness of youth speaks and simply believes what it wishes, but the reality of life and wisdom of age will eventually overcome that. Such is the way of things.
I love the excuse you guys make its like your a bunch of teenage children.
Age - I started as an adult you hit your peak physical performance around 35 and really do not start to slow down till your 55-60 if you keep active.
Income - I make less than most anyone
Geographic Location - if you want it bad enough you will change that, I did change that
Physical Ability - I started out skiing at 240lb! this is not layers I was really that big I am in the middle
I am around 80lb lighter now
physical ability is entirely learned IMO.
Time constraints - again if you really want it you will make the time
genetics - If you believe in God this doesnt apply to you anyways. My dad was a klutz but was is pretty damn good shape, but was IMO would have been to slight to be an ideal skier. My mom is an overweight nonathletic smoker. My oldest sister is obese, my younger sister is a maniac like myself who does crew in college, base jumps, and would be good at what ever she wanted to be.
seriously the genetics thing is bull crap it is what you make of it.
younger sister, mom, niece, older sister.
My mom and older sister make bad lifestyle choices like I was when I was younger, instead of becoming like them I started to be more active. The little sister has always been thin but she has always been into doing stuff.
The closest person to me from a genetic stand point in my cousin Mike. if you ever want to know what a park rat Bushwacker would be like look no further. Funny picture anyways.
his parents again are both overweight, his mom would be obese. yet he is not even close to that. So where is genetics now?
I truly think genetics is just an excuse of why people can not do something, I was 240lb I have an over weight mom and an overweight sister, and turned up being a great skier after I worked at it. The fact that I was one point in time fat means that I have pretty much no sympathy for those who complain about it me but I will be supportive of anything they are trying to do not be fat anymore.
