Just be clear:

Are the dates are March 15-18 (Thurs-Sun) OR March 17-20 (Sat -Tues)?

There is another thread out there that lists 17-20 and Cirque's group invitation lists the 17th-20th (and notes that the the dates were changed to the 17th-20th).

It's tough to make plans when correct dates are unknown.

I can help you guide on Thurs and Fri, I know MRG, Jay pretty well, Sugarbush North more than South. I would offer up the Snowbowl but most weeks we don't run our backside lift except on weekends due to lack of people so some great skiing would be missed, also we do not allow any alcohol on premises so there is nothing much for apres skiing. You show MRG on Sat, that is March 17th St. Patricks day, they usually run some type of lift special on that day and it could be mobbed. So count me in for Thurs , Fri  wherever and  you know what level I can guide. Hope to help you out anyway I can.If you are interested in really small crowds the Snowbowl that weekend will very light usually less than 1 minute for a lift.

I put this out in the original thread for those going & I'll put it here again for those that might want to take advantage of the deal.

Stowe is having what they call ski club appreciation days 3/14-3/17, this almost falls right in with the dates of this gathering.

Lift tickets for those with a valid ski club membership card will be $43 for a 1 day ticket, $64 for 2 days, $96 for 3 days & $120 for 4 days.

Local lodges are also offering discounted accommodations during this time to ski club members, you can check with them for offerings.

I think that's a super deal.

ps. They've been doing this for years & I've taken advantage of it several times. I have yet to be asked to show my ski club membership card when purchasing a ticket ( I do have one). Can't guarantee they won't ask.

I was hoping you would push this the other way and go Saturday through Tuesday. I'll be in Canaan Valley for a family outing during my daughter's spring break. Have fun folks, maybe next year.

This sounds like a great time both skiing wise and for a chance to meet some of the many Epic members.

Saturday though is out for me due to family commitments.  Sunday is also iffy but possible.  I could make Monday and Tuesday though.

As for helping with the guiding, I could chip in with some of the off trail terrain at Stowe, though I'm sure I don't have anywhere the knowledge that Bushwakerin has.

So count me in at least for Monday and Tuesday and possibly Sunday.

Just saw the correction about the dates.  15th through 18th makes it tough for me so might only be able to join the crowd on Sunday then.

I'm a definite maybe. Its going to depend on a couple things. I have some friends I may be able to stay with for lodging. I'll know better come mid-January.

EDIT: I made the decision today that I'm going to cancel my ski trip to NH in February and come to the gathering. Unless I can't get off work I will be there all four days.

I'm in 'definite maybe' mode too.  Good chance I can make it for the 17/18, possibly for the 16th, very unlikely for the 15th.

Sweet!  Between tylrwnzl, BWPA and me, we can make this the Steelers / East Coast gathering.  icon14.gif

It will be fun to rub the Superbowl win into all to local Pats fans faces.

I'm thinking I am probably in for Friday, maybe Sunday. I'm down for whatever, from skiing the Chin to blue-groomer cruising, it's all good. Wouldn't mind finishing the day with a lap of the Bruce.
