All passengers are supposed to be in a ski/tailgate coma as you're driving down canyon.

Typically we grab one or two or three at the hill.  The patio in the square at Snowbird and the patio up the hill a bit at Brighton are quite nice for those 24oz 3.2's.

Your point is duly noted though... next time we'll pack a cooler and do it up right!  Problem is, I'm usually stuck driving!

Another very economical and tasty option is bag the restaurants and just eat the chocolate donuts.

 THEY ARE GREAT!

Actually, we're staying at the Crystal Inn Midvalley, which (along with a full buffet breakfast) professes to serve a complimentary "light dinner".  I'm not sure what that entails, but the price is right.  Maybe it'll be the appetizer we'll need to actually make it back to the Red Iguana this year.

Go into liquor store at Snowbird and you can buy 10 percent Beers.

Good to know... though after a full day on the slopes a cold 3.2 does the trick very nicely.
