Twin Tips for my Son

Thread Starter
I am thinking about purchasing new boards for my son. He is eleven years old, about 4'10" tall, and 80 pounds. He is an intermediate skier on long boards and fearless on his mini ski's. I am thinking about getting him some twin tips for Xmas. My thought is he will be able to run them downhill with his friends but also play in the pipe and trees as well. I have no idea who makes them or what might be a good setup for him. Any reco's for me. I have tried Ebay and only found one pair (Salomon 1080's) in my search. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

I am a huge freestyle skier. If he wants a big mountain/park/powder/freeski then you might want to check out the Salomon Pocket Rockets, Atomic Big Daddys, Vokle Gotomas and also the big stix. But if he is mainly going to stay in the park and pipe, you might want to try th Salomon 720s. They are good for and intermediate skier that is small. That was my first twin tip. Also, for the park and pipe, try the Rossignol Scratch, and maybe the Atomic Tweaks. Hope I could help.

P.S. The only reason I didnt suggest the Saolom 1080s is because they are a little to big for your son and they might me to stiff.
