Fischer Soma Vacuum 130 - changing the flex

Thread Starter

How do I change, reduce the flex on these? Is it a simple matter of removing one or both of the bolts in the back of the boots? How much of a difference is it likely to make?

I haven't had a chance to ski with the boots yet, but I am anticipating wanting to play around with the flex a little to see what works best for me. I figure this is something I can do by myself, rather than go back to the bootfitter. Having just written that I have another question...

Should I be going back to a bootfitter to make changes like these to my boots or is it okay to experiment myself?

I'm not a fischer dealer, but usually you can try the softer flex by removing a bolt
