I returned this past Sunday night from 8 days of skiing at:
5- Beaver Creek
I'm returning Dec. 24 - Jan 2.
I would have skied more days at Vail, but skied at the Beav mostly due to the composition of our group and our location in Avon. More terrain has opened the last few days. But, at Vail the groomers were in good shape that we did:
Lodgepole, Columbine, Avanti,
the chair 3 and 4 runs: Ramsorn, Hunky Dory, Swingsville, Christmas, Espresso, Cappucino, etc,
and we especially like Northwoods and Northstar trails off chair 11.
All those trails were fine. We didn't do anything over on Lionshead.
The Sourdough chair opened after we left, so there was probably some pretty good snow over there.
Game Creek opened when we were there, We didn't go, but heard it wasn't great.
Got to ski Rose Bowl at the Beav the morning it opened. Lots of rocks and vegetation. But at least I got a pin for being among the first 500 people to ride the new lift.
