OK gals,

My wife says sell her boards so here I go.  These are 162 Nordica victory's.  Nice shape with a few topsheet chips and superficial base scratches....no core shots.  They have system demo bindings.  They are stored with wax on the bases and bindings turned down.  She want's them sold so $150 plus actual shipping takes them.  Please feel free to compare ebay prices.  This is a sweet deal on sweet boards with lots of life and edge left.  Please feel free to PM me for info.

Thanks,

Tom

Cantunamunch,

These were my wife's first real ski when she took up skiing at the tender age of 53.  She loved them and thought they were much easier than anything else she had tried, and made huge improvement in a hurry.  She weighs a little more than you and stands about 5'9".  When we got them she was a little concerned that she would not be able to control them...that concern ended in the first 100 yards down the hill.  She has since moved on to longer skis of the same basic style.  As she has improved (starting to carve) she has started preferring the stability that comes with length while still using a women's specific ski that is easy to bend.

Without seeing you ski it's hard for me to tell if they would be "right" for you.  That said, I think you would be pleasantly surprised with how smooth, stable and easy going they are.  These aren't squirrelly at speed like some of the shorter skis or rental skis. You might try to find a few reviews of this ski either here or at skidiva.com

I've skied them a couple of times when teaching and though they were super easy going....but then again I weigh 215 and am about an L9.

Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any more questions

Thanks,

Tom

Do these have the bindings that can be easily adjusted for different boot sizes without taking the bindings off?

Also, about how many days have they been used?

TSG, The answer to your first question is yes. They can easily be adjusted to just about any boot size by hand, and in just a couple of seconds.  As far as how many days, I can't say.  My wife put about 15 days on them after she got them used.  I can say that they have plenty of life left in them and are generally in very good shape....a couple of topsheet chips notwithstanding.  Let me know if you have any more questions soon.  If they don't go in the next day or two I'm going to put them on ebay.  FWIW my ebay username is tmc808 if you want to look up my rating.

Thanks,

Tom
