Think Snow!!!

It is really too bad that the Blossom skis don't get more recognition. I used to own the Vist equivalent of the Flere. Truly an outstanding ski. Sorry I sold them. A friend skis on the Vist Free, which is the equivalent of the White Out I guess. He loves them. I just had a chance to fondle the Follow Me SL ski. Now that ski is stiff! A 22 year old racer I know is dying to get on a pair.

They need a celebrity spokesperson. I'm thinking Mayim Bialik.

Humor! Well done.

The ski far-right.    The White Out.

Why is that one a "hypercarver" and not a  "all mountain carver with very pronounced taper"?   Is there something specifically non-all-mountainish about the flex, like a superstiff tail maybe?

Any plates? What bindings are you recommending?

Pricing?

Hopefully we can get some rides on these ASAP when the snow starts dumping on the East coast and let folks know how they handle.
I've been impressed with pretty much every Blossom-produced ski I've tried, and I can say from experience they hold up for several seasons of hard use without losing performance.  Brian....do the big skis have any rocker in them, or just traditional camber designs? The Blossom website does not show too much detail...

I see the White Out as a beast of a ski: tons of sidecut w/ a beef flex.  I don't see is skidding, slidding well... I see it as a carver more.smile.gif

Blossoms come available w/ the tyrolia plates.  For my personal skis, I have the RDX race plates on them.  I will be running the Rossi/Look MFX race bindings (metal versions).  Kerry will be running sets of her custom plates & FKS 18s.

I will be on the 189cm Overlimit plus & the 165 Follow Me plus: they are super stiff & just all out sweet looking.  I can't wait for them to hit snow!

Store Front Retail will be $1750, however MAP will be less.  I have been good at offering deals to EpicSki members.  ExoticSkis WILL be hooked up!icon14.gif

As for the designs of the Big Skis- the Hook has a traditional camber & a butter flex.  I had thought that the Hook would be my goto non race ski, yet the flex is really forgiving.  I am now thiking more of the Off Shore.  The Off Shore has a medium flex w/ slight camber underfoot & flat at the tip/tail, it is not a flat ski by any means yet camber is rather, rather slight.  Really cool design!!!biggrin.gif

The Santa UPS guy came early this year, and dropped of a pair of Fleres (3rd from the right in the picture).  All I can say is WOW!  Absolutely beautifully made ski.  No nonsense, no frills, very clean graphics.  Exceptional torsional stiffness for a very light ski.

That's all I can say, until the UPS guy brings me some bindings, and Santa brings some snow.

1750 dollars... wow!

I just ordered a pair of GS´s and they will set me back about 800€ (1100USD).

I guess you guys are just unlucky to be in the States ;-)

I have been skiing on VIST for the last two seasons but have always been on the lookout for lesser known ski brands.

Over here in Austria and Italy, many people know VIST so I guess I´m just trying to be a bit more exotic.

I know the quality will be great, since they actually make ski´s FOR Vist.

Looking forward to skiing them ...  but as you know we have no snow :-(((

Please send some over from the States ;-))

That $1750 represents the full boat retail & is on par w/ a DPS, Stockli, Bomber, Vist et al. Actual market pricing is right on w/ what you have paid.  EpicSki members are getting an even better deal!!!!

I am just about out of my current stock & will be importing more this week.   Feel free to contact me if anyone wants to step up to an uber exotic!
