Head Peak 88 2011 vs Fischer Motive 88 2012

Any advice, I'm an east coast skiier 5'11" 215lbs, just purchased the Fischer Motive 80 C-Line, looking for a 2nd ski that is a little wider under foot, looking at the 2011 Head Peak 88 and the 2012 Fischer Motive 88, about 2 years ago I was on the Line Prophet 90, but I didn't like the chattering on hard pack, so I then went to the Fischer Cold Heat love them some what, they were very heavy, great some carving ski. Any Ideas?

I'm considering a switch my current 09 Fischer Cold Heats to a 2012 Line Prophet 90 as I'm looking for a ski with a bit more range - groomers, bumps, <12" powder (I have some Watea 101's for deeper snow). I agree with your assessment that the Cold Heats are heavy and stiff, but the do have good grip. But they are pretty useless in bumps and deeper snow and don't really like quick and short turns.

How does the Line Prophet compare?

Skied the Peak 88's, with the Flowride tip it's so god damn soft that you can't drive the front of the ski at all, no matter what you did it washed out. That says a lot when I'm 110lbs and I can make this ski wash out easily. Not a good ski IMO, for what you're looking for go with the Motives.

But then again that's just my opinion >.<

Coming from the Cold Heats you miss the carving ability, especially on really cold hard packed mountains, the prophets don't compare, but you're right the Cold Heats don't like powder, bumps and crud, which the Prophets love, I really would like a ski  with the 2 put together, hoping I will find that in the Motive 80 C-line, just want a wider ski for those good snow days.
