New (!) but here for some professional advice regarding the following pair of boots which I picked up for cheap some years ago:
The problem is as follows:
The boots have the size 29.5 marked (engraved) on the shell's sole but the inner (liner) shoe has the size 29.0 marked on the inlay-sole. both are unused and inner shoe is thermo-formable.
However both boots (shell) have a sticker at the heel showing 29.0 (?)
I have a slim foot - so not sure if those are the right choice.
The inner shoe (liner) fits me well (about a thumb thickness from big toe to tip) but the difference in size (0.5) worries me.
Question is if the difference causes any problems?
general things about me:
I haven't been skiing for almost about 6 years (shame I know ) but used to be quite good for a german living far away north from the alps. I tried a newer carving ski once in 2005 in a rather short size and hated them - REALLY hated them. I guess If I ski again I'll stick to >190cm skies whatever model it will be with longer turning radius (I think that was what I couldn't stand)
please excuse my limited english!
thanx for any advice in davance it will be much appreciated!
