I'm trying to find some info on the "only one" by Head. Was given this as a gift to upgrade from my current Lite Thangs in a 147, but want to make sure it is the right ski for me before I commit to them and get them tuned and waxed, and can't find them anywhere online. Looks kind of like the "cool one" and is a 156cm. I'm think I'd be considered intermediate- I ski mostly Ontario groomers and look forward to first runs of the season at Holiday Valley before Christmas. (Already counting down the days- 38 to go!) Most comfortable on harder blues, easy blacks, but occasionally try to keep up with my 13 year old on a double black. 5'4, 140 lbs.
Oh, thanks to those who answered for the advice on skis for my daughter. She's going with the Passion II. I know new technology generally translates into better skis, but right now for us a slightly older ski translates into more money left for lift tickets, and that is always a good thing.
And while I'm here-- boo hoo that you need to be a US resident to enter the haiku contest! And double boo hoo that they don't give a choice of a women specific ski.
