OK, this vid is really The Today Show in Switzerland, but part of it deals with the Bonds filmed there, including a little footage of Stefan Zurcher, one of the skier's in On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Diana Rigg, ah, what memories! She and the skiing would make another viewing worthwhile.  ;-)

Oh, what the Hell...

I really liked the leather "Avengers" look, but that works too!  ;-)

To me each is great, in its own way.

But ah, to be reminded of Diana Rigg again. I doubt there's any male that passed through the 60's who doesn't have her burned into his brain in a very deep and meaningful way.  Hard to explain, but awesome doesn't begin to describe...

Starting with "Casino Royale" I've been making the premier of the latest Bond film an event. Aston Martin for the week, Bollinger champagne, Armani clothing.etc.

I understand we'll have another film (23rd) in about a year. "Skyfall" It was announce a couple weeks ago. See below.

The last offering "Quantum of Solace" was a little low in voltage for my tastes. (But, it did have it's moments.)

I'm interested to see if Barbara Broccoli and company can come up with a good tale in Skyfall.

Some people complain that the Bond films aren't very realistic. Of course not. They're Bond films. If you don't like them. Don't go!  Life is to short.

I'm not a big fan of the Roger Moore films. His portrayal of Bond was weak IMHO.

I wasn't quite sure about the Daniel Craig choice at first. But I like it now with the current writing.

I like the way he and Judi Dench (M) go at it verbally. I think she could take him in a fight. lol

Does make you you realize what a good tribute/reenactment McConkey's version is though.

The current dredging up of the Natalie Wood death story brought her sister Lana back into the public eye. Well known, amongst other things, for her turn as Plenty O'Toole in Diamonds Are Forever...

More Jackson than Switzerland, but definitely worth a pause to remember.

Great scene.  The guy who did the stunt skiing in that scene (John Eaves) lives just down the street from me.

In this behind the scenes footage from Flow State, Hugo Harrison and Sascha Schmid ski powder in Mürren, Switzerland, following in the tracks of James Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."
