Binding adjustment to suit new boot length

I have installed some Quiver Killer inserts for my Vist Fee bindings, set up for size 24.5 ski boots (286mm sole length).

I am experiencing problem with my pair of ski boots and I might have to buy another pair and go up one size to 25 (sole length about 298mm?)

Anyone knows s there enough adjustment on the Vist to accommodate the extra length?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry I cant help on the  adjustment,   but wondered if you have been to a bootfitter.   Best to get the smaller boot to be made snug via heat expansion etc than buying a larger boot that your foot may have too much movement in.

Along with Richo's thoughts, you are going from a short 24 to a long 25 flags are going up. What boot are you and and what boot are going to..and why? Back to the question at hand, the Vist does not have an additional 14mm of travel assuming it was already in the middle adjustment point, there might be 14MM total, but I doubt an additional 14mm

I did the reverse...got a smaller boot (by 11mm) and there was enough play in my Fischer bindings to avoid remounting.  However, it does depend on where the binding was set up initially, so I'd take it to a shop and have them take a look to be sure.

Thank you for all the responses.

I am going to see a bootfitter next week. The pair of ski boots I have is Salomon Eclipse, which I was told has a weird toe box shape (the toe box is a bit pointy).  So, in case the toe box cannot be modified, I am thinking of getting a pair of either Dalbello or the Fischer instead and I think I shouldn't have to go one up in size.

If you haven't done any punching out or grinding of the toe yet, I wouldn't worry about it.  I expect you will be able to make some room in there.
