Best Headband Under Helmet?

Hey peeps with long hair!  My hair is really long and I wear it in two braids to ski but I get little whispy bits that come out of my helmet around my face after an hour of skiing and they bug the heck out of me.   So, this year, I want to find a really narrow headband to keep those pieces back and yet it needs to be so thin that I can't feel it under my helmet.  Has anyone found a solution?  I was thinking of something like Scrunci No-Slip Headbands but would love your input.

Try pre-wrap. Anyone with a daughter (or maybe even a son) in soccer will know what I mean. It's cheap, super light, and sorta sticky so it doesn't slide.

Why 'narrow'?

Is it just a question of the amount of material under the helmet?

I guess it doesn't have to be narrow.  It just can't be thick because that will give me a headache.  Any ideas?

I think you're on the right track with narrow. It lowers the possibility of places where the headband could rub and be annoying. If narrow works (keeps the hair back), it's a better idea.
