Line Mr Pollards Opus vs Salomon Rocker 2

Thread Starter

I'm looking for something big and floaty and I saw these here:

Mr Pollards Opus: http://www.basinshopping.com/Product/2012-Line-Mr-Pollands-Opus-Ski.26069.3232.aspx

and Rocker 2:  http://www.basinshopping.com/Product/2012-Salomon-Rocker-2-Ski.26153.2947.aspx

And thoughts between the two? Thanks

MPO shreds everything. I haven't been on the rocker2's so i can't compare, but the MPO's really can do it all.

Tried the Rocker 2 and I own the OPUS.  They seem like they should be in the same category but behave complete different in anything but bottomless (even then the OPUS has the edge).  The OPUS is by far the most playful versalite "fat" ski I have ever used, there is nothing that it can't do - including railing on groomers.  I have owned a few in this catagory (S7, Katana, Wrens, 115's) and tried a bunch more - this skis ranks #1.

I have never a greater sensation of "being" on auto pilot when on these - think it, it happens - and very stable.

Mount on Line's recommended line - you won't be dissapointed.
