I took that the wrong way when I first read it...

Dorworth has numerous skiing accomplishments...speed skiing etc. he is also an early

pioneer rock climber.

And one of Dorworth's sons is Scott Markewitz, noted ski/sports photographer, who amongst a jillion other things was the still photographer involved in "The Edge of Never".
