I suggested to a a buddy of mine (Steve) that we post his fundraiser over here, as well as on TGR.
It's that time of year again... time for the annual Fundraising Calendar, 2012 edition. For those of you that bought one last year, I truly appreciate your generosity and based on the feedback, I hope that everyone was happy with the calendar. Here are the details for the 2012 Fundraiser:
What it is: Each year, I sell custom-made photo calendars that are produced with pictures I took on the slopes, trails, etc. Last year it was a skiing-only calendar. This year, it's different...
Adventure Sports Calendar: A combination of skiing and mountain biking pictures from across Colorado and Utah. You can see the images that will be included in the calendar here:
Western Landscapes Calendar: Landscape images from the western US, including Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. This is new for this year, and you can see the images here:
Who it benefits: 100% of the proceeds will be split between two recipients this year. The first, Safe Harbor Lab Rescue (SafeHarborLabRescue.org), is an animal rescue that my wife and I volunteer with here in the Denver area. The second is, again, the Marine Corps Unit that my brother-in-law is with, who are again deploying to Afghanistan at the end of November. Yep, just in time for Christmas... so likely I'll be using the proceeds of the fundraiser to help make their Christmas a little easier away from home.
What it costs: $20 per calendar, including shipping.
When to order: Anytime from now until the end of November. You'll have them by the second week of December in order to give them away as holiday gifts, if needed.
How to pay: Two options. First, Paypal. You can send $20 to my Paypal address- firstname.lastname@example.org. PLEASE include your mailing address and which calendar you're purchasing (and how many of each), and if you don't mind, pay using the "Gift" option so I don't have to pay fees. Second option is with a check. Send me a PM here and I'll send you my mailing address. No problem with either one.
Bring on the orders and let's make this year's calendar even more successful than last year! I'm aiming for 50 calendars this year!
