Falcon 10's - Are they holding me back ?

I have had these for around 6 years - have thin heel and they were the best fit at the time ..... I do like them ...

But I am admittedly an intermediate cruiser - and I think they may be too stiff for my intended use....

I am 5'8 175# and ski mostly blue cruiser at average speeds - Have monster 78's... I dont get passed often but am no speed demon either ...

Could they be hindering my progression ?

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

why not remove the extra side cuff screws, make them softer, and try it?

also putting the power strap on the liner only (under the shell) can make a boot softer too.

if you like the results, then yes,  get them cut softer.

If you have space over the instep, try lifting your heel in the boot around a centimeter and put the screws back in.
