I know I can not make the Western Gathering, but I might be able to pull off the Eastern Gathering.  It is right after my race season and just before I got to Big Sky.  I shall see if SWMBO can be convinced to let me attend.  It is only one long days drive away.  Would love to ski with some of you bums.  I could use a good spankin'.

When are the dates of your BS trip? I'm planning to go to Las Vegas after the Gathering to watch some basketball, but if my travels and your schedule permits, I'd love to show you Bridger.

That would be awesome!  I will be at Big Sky either March 16-24 or 18-25.  There is a large group from Cleveland that is split into two groups and I am not sure which group I am in yet.    (Rats, I just noticed that my trip will confilct with the Eastern Gathering.  Oh well, there is always next season.)

Let me know if you will be around Big Sky on those dates.  Maybe we can plan an Epic Day if others will be around as well.

IMHO this is a pretty hilarious community.  Tons of characters...I revel in watching some of the knock down fights of SVM vice Zipper Line...all over the best way to get down the mountain.  This community keeps me connected to the snow and skiing when I'm stuck back East in the summer....so I am thankful for that.  I can always rely on someone here to be thinking about, dreaming about, wishing for POW somewhere and that is a cool thing.  Certainly there are racer types here, but I thinks its pretty good mix of people who love lots of POW, bumpers, racers, newbies etc.  The manners are a little bit more mature than TGR (though I do post over there from time to time), so it makes it a little bit mellower.  Maybe we are a bit too nice to trolls...but that can fixed.  I have also learned a lot about gear here.  It has compressed my learning curve and allowed to poach some of the research that guys like Sierra Jim do in the course of doing their jobs working with and selling gear.  That has been a huge help in terms of narrowing down the selections for types of skis and other gear.  Whatever our personality is..let's keep it rolling.

BTW..I love that we worked some South Park into this thread....

I have never seen more than a couple of minutes of South Park because I just can't relate.  What does that say about me??  Yeah, I am an old but crusty dude.

Ski On!

It's a Jersey Thing -- good call, Finn, that one was hilarious... right on the heels of the "Sexual Healing" episode ala Tiger Woods scandal.

The show is genius..  my other favorite episode featuring Paris Hilton, yes, it crude and juvenile humor, but the message can be spot-on.

Here's an interview with the creators commenting on this episode.  You may have a new respect for the show
