Probably a short March trip to Jackson

Almost certainly a number of late April/May/June trips to SLC on a Snowbird spring pass

Can I hit you up for some advice later in year - gonna take wife to Sun  Valley this year and never been there. ?

I have an Epic Pass, which covers A-basin, Keystone and Breckenridge.

Got the EpicPass again. Annual Father And Son Ninja Ski Mission From God will find me in the Vail area for half of January. We'll be sure to get Baz Jr. at least one day at A-Basin.

Joining a large mob of well tanned friends for a week in Steamboat.

Looks like I'll get my first visit to the Tahoe region thanks to The Gathering.

If fate and fortune allow, a spring foray to Colorado may be in the works.

I bought passes for myself and my son at Steamboat. I got them early to take advantage of the discounts. I hope to get in 20 days, but 15 are guaranteed, if my old ass doesnt fall apart.

My son's school does a ski program at Crotched Mtn.;  parents can buy in at $139 for seven visits -- about $20 a shot.  Small mountain, but a short trip.  And if I can get my ACL-damaged, pre-surgery wife out elsewhere, we'll probably hit Sunapee a time or two.  Then wherever we can pick up passes (Boston Ski Show, anyone?).

I'd like to get back up to the Dartmouth Skiway and do another lesson with TSquare -- he really dialed me in last season.  The Skiway's small, but it's got a substantial percentage of great skiers.

(Where a person would like to go, though, that's another thread.)

Seasons Pass at Big White/Silver Star

Discount card for Louise/Kicking Horse/Revelstoke/Castle

Discount card for Fernie/Kimberley/Nakiska

Discount card for Panorama

Ski Club trips to Whistler & Sun Peaks, Castle & Fernie, Revelstoke

and at some point I'll probably head down to Red Mtn., Whitewater, Baldy, and Apex for a mini-tour.

Life is good.....

A pass? I'm not even sure where I'll be working this year. Have several offers on the table, and I'll probbaly work at 2 or three of them.

No pass this season. May buy a four-pack for Loveland Basin as a backup for days with high avy conditions. Primarily hiking Berthoud Pass this season. May not get as many days in, but hopefully more quality days.

Seasons pass for Kicking Horse, seasons pass for Lake Louise, might get a spring pass for Sunshine Village maybe.

Discount card at Fernie. Will be making a trip or 2 to Whistler, Castle mountain, Revelstoke, and also be skiing Rogers Pass, Icefields Parkway, Kananaskis country and Highwood pass regularly. Shooting for another 120ish days season and the main goal is to not get injured.

Season pass at Marmot Basin and Sunshine

Hopefully getting some days in at Whitewater, Fernie, Whitefish and possibly Red.

Whistler 1/2 dozen days Dec to March-  then a lot in April and as practical in May

a few days at Baker

And what I wait for all year (mountains listed by favorites on trip not by sequence to ski)

Road trip January the warm-up : Silver Star, Apex, Big White

Road trip Feb looking for powder: Kicking Horse  Lake Louise, Revy and if timing/snow permits Sunshine,Panorama

March still being decided between

road trip A : Castle Whitefish Fernie

             B : Red Whitewater Whitefish

             C:  Big Sky Jackson Hole

or fly     D: Salt Lake - Snowbird/Alta and ?? don't know never been to that area

Bought the Beast Express at Killington.  50% off weekdays and 25% off weekend/holiday tix.  It cost $99 and they gave me credit for my ticket yesterday (25%) or $10.  I should be able to make that deal work.

My Jiminy Peak has black out dates so I can probably make use of the card during the holidays and some weekends - weekdays for sure.  Late season is the only game in town.

Sure you can.  I did it for my son.  Jim just told me to bring the letter when I picked up the pass.

Wait...you went to K yesterday?

I did the math trying to decide between K57s or the Beast card.  I figured it would take 6 weekend days at full price for the card to be better than the K57s.  Didn't count on them crediting the 1st ticket and I'll likely ski there the most after the prices go down in the spring.  basically, it was making m head hurt, so I bought 4 K57s.

We still on for Veteran's Day?

First trip to Utah  Feb 6-17 2012,  at 47 looking forward to it like a kid counting the days to Christmas

at this point looking to ski snowbasin  and Powder Mountain,  2 of our group of 4 are snow boarders so we are hoping they get tired one day so we can ski Alta.

97days to go.

Cheers Richo

My girlfriend and I just got 3-packs for Schweitzer; they sold them for $159 on their website (ended yesterday), but they had them at the Seattle Ski Fever show for $99.  So I'm headed to Schweitzer for Christmas.  I will probably post a TR since there doesn't seem to be any reviews of Schweitzer here.

This is in addition to my season's pass at Stevens and the Tahoe Gathering, with a stop at Bachelor on the way.

Life is good.

I've got the Tahoe Epic Pass - Northstar and Heavenly and a few bonus days in Colorado :)

It's raining here in SF today...does that mean it's snowing in the mountains??

I have my pass to Jiminy Peak.  It's a 6/7 which means Saturday is blacked out until three as well as the usual other black outs dates.  I have some tickets to Killington and discounts to Magic and a bunch of other mountains via the Schenectady Wintersports Club.

At this time it looks like a trip West is not likely.

Paul,

I don't actually have my Ski VT tickets in hand yet, but they didn't call me so I'll assume that's a good sign.  I heard that they might still have some of the five pack tickets left.  If you're interested, you should give them a call and check.  The three packs sold out quickly.

I don't think you can wait for the Ski VT form to arrive in the mail anymore.  You have to get on the e-mail list and fax your order/payment in ASAP.

I expect to be at Jiminy on New York nights at least a few times this year (following a 2 yr hiatus).  Also got season passes at Gore/Whiteface for the family.

I ordered them the same day I received the form in the mail. I used snail mail to order the tickets not fax.. Like yourself I don't have them in hand yet but I do know they cashed my check so it's safe to say I should expect them shortly.

My Ski VT passes just arrived.  They're printed in a lovely pink/purple ink this year.

Steamboat, I suspect you cut it pretty close.  I submitted my order the day before I received the promo. materials in the mail.  It took me 3 tries to get through on the fax machine (busy the first two tries).

Received mine today also, good to go...icon14.gif

They took Ascutney off the list...frown.gif

Steamboat, I believe Ascutney closed.

I think there was also a posting on Epic about the closing.

My 3 passes will most likely be used at Stowe, Sugarbush and Killington (with return trips to Sugarbush and Killington when discounted spring rates are in effect).   I always ski MRG midweek, so it isn't worth using Ski VT passes there.  I also hope to get to Jay and Magic during the 11/12 season (perhaps substituting a midweek Magic powder day for a day at MRG).

Yeah I know. It was closed last year but was still on the pass, that's the only reason I mentioned it.

I hope I get to use all my passes.

Between my season pass & other deals I'll have to spend a lot to save a lot.

What to do...smile.gif
