I am selling a pair of BlueHouse Maestro 189 skis, used as a powder-only ski for one season, so everything is great condition. This is a 117mm undefoot ski with tip and tail rocker and camber underfoot. The sidecut and shape is similar to Armada JJ, but the tip and tail profile are lower, so it does not get deflected in crud as much. Woodcore with carbon stringers added for stiffness it is not a whimpy ski, it can charge but with tip and tail rocker it is very quick and easy to ski. The main difference in this particular ski with other Maestros is that it has a full Starthaus tune including the base grind and edge set. Bluehouse ski come from the factory with belt-ground base with no structure and edges set to 0/0, so I had the bases stone-ground and set the edges to 1/2. Compared to regular Maestro, this pair will perform much better in slush, and in firm conditions (well, as 117 ski without metal it will still have its limitations...) Currently mounted with Marker Griffons for BSL 315. Asking $325 without binding (the tune alone cost me $90), if you want the bindings, add $195 extra. Local pickup in the SF Bay Area or in N.Tahoe, or I will ship anywhere at your cost. I will also throw in a hand-wax at no cost.
