Don't know much about the jacket since it was a gift.  I can say that I am an extra large in most clothing and this does not fit me in the belly, definitely has that Euro cut (people must not know SUPER SIZE there).  My guess is it would fit a large better  I am 6'1"   210ibs.

is it still available?  im interested - also is it insulated or just a shell? is the hood helmet compatible? any more pictures (inside)? recco?

Bazzer was stylin' and smilin' at last year's gathering in a Kjus. Not quite the same, but really nice jacket.

If you look at the tags, you can find the model name or #.

Based on a Google search it looks like a Tunes.

Again it's a gift so don't know much about it.  Has a hood so assume they make high end stuff it is helmet compatable.  Sure feels like insulated jacket vs a shell.  There is Kjus tag but nothing with price or model on it.  Hope this helps

That's what I thought as well.    regardless, it seems like a great deal for a very nice jacket.   IF this is the tune, here ya' go.

I picked up my Kjus before last season at the Ft. Lauderdale ski show, (I know, I know, you can stop laughing now,) at a substantial discount. It still wasn't cheap, but is probably the nicest single bit of clothing that I've ever owned, with the possible exception of a Sgt. Pepper style jacket that I obtained in the mid '70s. Not one moment of buyers remorse.

How to top last season? Praying for snow, and hope to make it out to the Tahoe gathering.

Ten years ago I met a guy from Florida at Steamboat.  We fell to talking, and it turns out that the largest ski club in the US (at that time) is the Miami ski club.  Anyone and everyone w/i 100 miles who skis joins cuz they need the community and the bene's.

Dead on, though there have been several more local clubs that have opened in the last few years, including Ft. Lauderdale, Space Coast, Boca Raton, and the Palm Beaches. I believe that the single largest is now the Atlanta Ski Club. All of the Florida clubs plan a trip or two together each season under the auspices of the Florida Ski Council. Hundreds of folks with even tans, (sans raccoon look, at least at the beginning of a trip,) will converge on Steamboat at the end of January 2012. Not quite as gaperiffic as you might fear. Loads of transplanted Yankees, Westerners, Canadians, and Europeans fill the ranks, and some of these folk pack some pretty impressive skills. Buying power of the clubs is pretty strong, so when I travel with the Miami gang we tend to stay in much fancier digs than I do when traveling independently, and impressive deals on lift tickets are par for the course. Other deals and swag are added perquisites. Then when we get home, we dry out our boots at the beach.

Presumably the lack of snow in the back yard also gives you more time to yack about it online in a discussion forum too words.gif

Looking forward to seeing you at the Tahoe Gathering Bazzer. Hopefully we'll have plenty of sunshine so you can go home with a goggle tan.

Daydreaming about skiing vicariously through the forums sure beats not daydreaming about it, though nothing tops the real thing.

It will be my sincere pleasure to meet you as well Sinecure.

Received. For sale again. PM me if interested. It doesn't quite fit me right, plus it's too warm for me. I run hot anyway, and it isn't cold in the Sierra. This will fit well on a guy who wears size L gear that's made in North America (42-43in chest). Also, more of an athletic fit than a dunkin donuts fit. Would also fit an athletic girl with longer arms (33in arms). Probably up to about a C cup.

Nice jacket, nicely made and good looking. Just not right for me.
