Mounting new bindings

Hey Guys,

I have a pair of new skis (thanks to ESA) that I've decided to keep, and a set of bindings that I would like to have mounted.

The brakes however are not quite wide enough, but barely. they simply scrape the skis when engaged. Is it okay in this case to bend the brakes? and if so, how much clearance should I look for once I bend them?

They are OK if you bend them a bit. Depending on the brake design, you can dremmel the inside of the plastic to get it a bit smoother to go past the edge/sidewall of the ski. FWIW, I have seen people bend 80mm Look Pivot brakes to fit 100mm+ wide skis, so if yours are that close, you should be fine.
