Its been about 10 years since i hit the slopes on a pair of ski's...snowboarding lost its luster when i moved to colorado last Feb (cheers to that/boo to missing the new years run at MSG) and i'm more than ready to get back to what i grew up doing.
I'm 27, 5' 9", about 210, and have been looking at the Bonafides relentlessly. Are they the right fit for someone getting back into skiing? What's an appropriate length? Are the Bushwackers going to offer an easier path to advancing my skill level this season, what about next?
I plan on getting out at least 30 times and want to invest in something that is going to give me the ability to advance throughout the season and future seasons. Regarding skill level right now? Well im ahead of those that haven't skied before and spent holidays skiing out west as a kid; but its hard to judge with 10 years since, not to mention the evolution of ski's in a decade. I'll be on both sides of the mountain depending on what friends are in town and what mom nature decides to do.
Appreciate all the insight and friendliness towards lurkers that look for answers to questions they're likely over analyzing lol.
