Who has tried 3D GoPro???

Is it worth it?

Will it only work on 3D TV's or is it you-tube compatible???

Without having tried it, I can tell you it's not going to look that good.  True 3-D (which in itself is overrated) requires heavy post-production work to be good / effective.

?? You sure. Have a look at this if you have some red blue glasses.

Apart from the colour rendition it's pretty effective to me? It's Utube so that obviously answers the OP's question too.

It's not 3d but this one is a really good one too to show what POV cameras can do on snow.

Meh.  I guess I think the whole 3D craze is way overrated and is a fad (again) that will fade into obscurity (again) until it becomes a fad for the  fourth (?) time.  This article by Roger Ebert on 3D pretty much sums up my take: http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2011/01/post_4.html

I don't have a problem with POV cameras in general, however - I never said anything about that.  I think they're amazing.

I wonder if you have to press "record" on both GoPros at exactly the same time to make it work (very tough to do)???

No, you don't.

So does a computer program figure out how to sync the clips?

I don't know enough about editing in 3D, but with non-linear editing, I don't really see that as a roadblock.
