Many thanks for your last message. Have spoken with my Wife and she
also agreed on the date, so we will be booking ( Oct 17 to 27).
Myself and my wife are both coming from AUSTRALIA to the state for our
honeymoon
and also my employer is in the state and will be sponsoring our trip. So
the payment will be done by US cashier or certified check which will
be delivered to you via FEDEX courier service. So i would want you to
get back to me with your mailing information to enable the mailing out
of the paycheck ontime. Here are the information needed from you as
soon as possible...

1. Full name which you want to appear on the check:
2. Address (not P.O Box):
3. City:
4. State:
5. Zip Code:
6: Cell number:
7. Total Amount:

The agreement form will be filled out on our arrival to your location
because we do not want to fill any form online so that our physical
signature will not appear but you can send it for my review and i will
get it filled on our arrival. I will want you to be sincere with us as
we are God fearing people.

HERE IS OUR MAILING INFORMATION BELOW:

Mr and Mrs Sean Thomas  .
200 Broadway Rd WEST
BEACH SA 5024. AUSTRALIA

God Bless.

Scam

Easy way to check.  Drop the address into google maps.  There is a broadway in South Australia, a Westbeach in South Australia, but not a broadway rd in westbeach.

The other dead giveaway is that they are going to mail out the "paycheck".  That means, the "whole of your pay" of here.  We also use the UK spelling of cheque over here.

Zip code = post code over here, cell number.  You'd never write AUSTRALIA in capital letters.  Most of us would pay you via Visa or Mastercard and hardly anyone has a chequebook anymore.

Oh, and we most of us aren't 'God fearing'.

Now... time to bait them and have fun :-)

Definitely scam.

We may be a little backward down here but "the state" is what we get in on a Friday night after a few beers. It's not where we come to ski.

I actually have worked down in Oz many years ago and been back many times and saw a bunch of red flags right away from this guy.  Posted here to alert others and was PMed by a Epic newbie (0 posts, looks like he joined just to contact me) saying he got the same letter.

I don't really want to educate the scammers, so I am not going to go into all the details...but others should be forewarned!
